About:BA Design at Goldsmiths seeks not only to understand what design is but what it might become. By equally valuing and nurturing both creative practice and critical conceptual exploration, the course aims to empower designers to challenge pre-existing conditions and propose new possibilities, design that not only works to solve, but also aspires to ask questions and generate new understanding.

Accessibility:As a course, we believe in using design to rethink how we can make our course, work and spaces more accessible and inclusive. This is something we are constantly working on, and are aware that the access tools provided will not meet the needs of all access requirements. If there are ways we can facilitate and improve things going forward, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

With that in mind, this year's show is once again BSL translated and includes the use of spoken captioning. On each student's display, you will find a QR code which when scanned on your mobile device will take you to either a professionally BSL-interpreted and a student read audio catalogue description.

Quiet times will also be implemented on a daily basis during which we will ask visitors and exhibitors to refrain from small talk and reduce audio levels of works to a minimum. Please refer to the access table or ask an exhibitor for further information.
