The Reluctant Heroes

Animals were always the first to be sent out-into experiments, into the unknown, to ensure humans could survive. They gave their lives, yet received little recognition in return.
Nations competed for every ""first"" among the stars. But behind this airless silence, animals’ lives paved the way.
In this project, I want to commemorate, to protest, to record these reluctant heroes who have gone unseen. I engrave history onto metal, hang it on the wall; flag raise high, while tombstones recount irreversible truths.
From names to numbers, what has been erased—and what will be erased next?
