DigiCharms 2055 is a speculative design project set in a near future where life has largely moved into The Space, a fully digital environment people slipped into as the world stopped being something you had to physically show up for. In that world emotional connection has become something you pay for monthly. The Charm Company gives you a charm to hold onto, an object whose only purpose is to remind you that you have a body and that you are somewhere. As technology keeps pulling presence and attachment into systems we rent rather than own, the project asks what happens next, and quietly points out that we are already living inside the logic it describes.
