Sharam Nahi, Shakti (No Shame, Only Power) is a reimagination of sanitary pads through the bold and visual language of Indian truck art. Instead of treating period products as something to hide, the project makes them loud, playful, and impossible to ignore. Using bright colours, indian motifs & patterns, Hindi typography, and phrases like “Pads Carrier,” it turns everyday packaging into a conversation starter. The project uses humour and cultural references to challenge the shame often attached to menstruation, especially in South Asian contexts. By borrowing from the visual world of trucks, which are public, expressive, and full of personality, the packaging celebrates periods as something normal, powerful, and part of everyday life. It is about replacing secrecy with visibility, and shame with shakti.
