Data Deletion Simulator is an interactive installation that explores what happens when people attempt to delete their digital identities after death. Inspired by platform policies, digital remains, and questions of ownership and control, the project simulates the process of deleting social media accounts while revealing hidden barriers such as data retention, backups, third-party access, and legal restrictions. Through a kiosk-like experience, users are invited to reflect on privacy, authority, and whether digital traces can ever be completely erased.
